I have never had a fast food hamburger. And I never will!

You are correct!

Ahhh how can you forget Joe Manganiello! He and Robin also went on a couple dates. But really the bromance over brunch with Marshall was the major relationship there.

Jason's his best friend in Philly. It makes complete sense he'd want to work with him.

Is everyone forgetting Restaurant Wars? You know, where Nick led the kitchen and everyone was like "whatever he's doing in the kitchen, he shouldn't change" - and that included Carrie and STEPHANIE, who were both praising his leadership.

Not just buddies, that's his best friend! I would completely 100% choose my best friend if I could! He knows his food, he knows how he works, he knows that the guy will have his back. Absolutely you pick your BEST FRIEND to work with!

It was a dish Jason had conceptualized and that Nick worked into the menu and added to a little with shrimp, etc. That's not uncommon, especially when Jason is fully on board. Nick's responsible for the final taste of what goes out, not all the work that goes into a dish.

Good riddance, I found the coverage of this season totally lacking. No food knowledge, and no real knowledge of how Top Chef seems to operate. Totally going on how she feels about competitors instead of taking a critical approach. The comments are great but the coverage has been shameful on this front.

So you've seen him in real life? Because that seems like a really unfair assessment unless you've like done a service with him (or I'd even count eating at his restaurant while he was in house).

How did I miss that she sous vide the fish??? I usually catch this since I have a machine and sous vide stuff a lot. Smart move on her part with that kind of fish!

Hear hear on Philadelphia being an amazing food town!

She said she was 7months on Twitter.

Also, the thing about Last Chance Kitchen is that you're only plating 2 plates. In this challenge, they had to make a bunch for a lot of people, which is where consistency comes in to play - exactly what got Louis sent home.

Also, ok, how much is a big old house in Berkeley Hills worth? I'm not sure why it's supposed to "save money," because anything with 2b/2ba in the city is going to cost them like at LEAST $2Mill.

Yeah, it's a set on the Universal lot. And it's huge so it doesn't make too much sense to me to just get rid of it.

Hahahaha, he's the one who is Nick's best friend in Philly, ironically enough.

Yeah, his structure of the dish was not a good one to showcase how you've figured out seasoning. The broth/sauce was heavily flavorful, and the diners pointed out that when you put the fish into the sauce it's a delicious flavor balance. But when the fish was eaten alone it was underseasoned, which there really isn't

These vegetarian patties have THE MOST umami flavor to them. That's how I define it - earthy, a little salty, a little little tangy, a little sweet, a little dirt (I guess that's earthy). It's beyond savory. http://www.thekitchn.com/re…

Jesus, my blood pressure went up a bit just thinking about salting a hot dog, haha.

I always see the "do you want another drink" as a test about whether or not you think the date is going well rather than a "do they drink too much" test. If I do want to stay and hang out I'll answer with something like "yeah if we're going to hang out for awhile!"
