The prosthetics used for packing are pretty different than stuffing some socks in your pants... that’s why they exist. A dance belt is also a fine idea and who knows, both could be equally comfortable/uncomfortable.

Choux pastry is honestly very quick to make. It takes maybe 10 minutes to mix - maximum - and then for choux buns that small, maybe 15-20 minutes in the oven, if even that. It’s one of my go-tos when I don’t have a ton of time. I totally buy it.
I love them both!
It’s Benny! He wants ice cream.
These would probably be fine, since the parts that require cleaning are out in the open and easy to clean.
Then you’re a loner, Dottie, a rebel.
>On the other hand, most thrift shops have a full set of cleaning procedures before items get onto the shelves.
Having once gotten bedbugs from a friend just visiting my house and bringing the eggs in on her shoes, I can no longer buy any used items because I get too grossed out. Those little fuckers can hide anywhere. Think that wooden table is safe? Nope, they can be in the nooks and crannies there too. It’s less likely than…
Oh, and the travel article you posted was from a small, non-random sample of Millennials, and based some of its assertions on other articles citing small, non-random samples. So the results can’t be generalized out beyond the surveys, despite what the articles would have you think. Need I go on?
You didn’t address my larger point, which is that the average is inflated, and so that $2,000 is probably high and the data you’re using to support your claim isn’t great. I’m not disputing that hypothetical $2,000 would grow. I’m disputing the numbers you’re using, and I think it’s also absolutely absurd to expect…
Just for instance: from the Forbes article, where they point out that the average Millennial in 2014 (that is some old-ass data, but whatever) spent about $2,900 going out to eat. This is an average, not a median, which means people who make more money and therefore can spend more are driving the average up, as are…
You could have just said “get off my lawn” and saved us all a lot of trouble.
While I think this article has excellent advice about increasing contributions and being proactive, especially for younger folks for whom retirement savings might be a little mystified, “worst offenders” makes it sound like a lot of them have a choice. I get that this article is targeted to a certain segment of the…
Shouldn’t your hands already be clean if you’re cooking, though? In that case, it only requires one extra hand-washing.
I am... exceedingly lucky. My monthly premium through my employer is $127/month and I have an out-of-pocket max of $1,500. So the most I pay is about $3,000. Less this year because my employer is paying our full premiums one month. It’s not even a high-deductible plan - those are free through my employer.
One other great thing about this is that his street intersects with Monument Avenue, home to many of Richmond’s confederate monuments. Specifically, it crosses directly through the Stonewall Jackson monument.
There are organizations (usually nonprofits, formerly HUD before Ben Carson) that conduct tests of housing providers to make sure they are following the rules. This often occurs as part of a settlement agreement through a court, HUD, or a state or local fair housing agency. Sometimes fair housing testers go as far as…
Hi Anne, your characterization of this as redlining is incorrect. Redlining is the illegal practice of denying access to mortgage loans based on the predominant race of a neighborhood. Banks also reverse redline - giving people in neighborhoods of color worse terms on mortgages because of the predominant race of the…
Arya rode away on a pale horse. She’s dead. She didn’t miraculously survive the dragonfire that scorched literally everything around her. It was an extremely heavy-handed metaphor.
Gotcha. There’s certainly a line is between beefing up your resume and being exploited. And companies so infrequently invest in professional development anymore. I think if you want to get out you may just have to try and make a jump, even if it’s lateral, to a place where you can grow.
