I far prefer George Eliot's Mill on the Floss and Silas Marner to Middlemarch.

A bit off-topic, but on my phone, the article says, "this question comes from reader Matthew Russell:" Directly below that is a mugshot with the caption, "History's most sadistic serial killer"
My impression has been that most docs are labors of love. Do any of the filmmakers actually make money off of them… directly, I mean (e.g. ticket sales, dvd copies).
What a well-done interview, with thoughtful questions and responses! A pleasure to read: fascinating!
I think someone must have said Bart and Lisa Simpson. Still, they are outdone by Rod and Todd Flanders!
Whoops! Just posted about Ruffalo and Linney! Didn't see yours.
That was another excellent portrayal!
One of my favorite pairings is Laura Linney and Mark Ruffalo in, You Can Count On Me.
Really, actively, truly wanted to like Grantchester. Sorry to say I found it dull.
I thought, for sure, that that had to be a joke.
It's so nice when, all of a sudden, life seems fair.
You know, I liked this season. I really did. At the same time, I started watching S1 again, and things are somehow more fluid (?) Not sure that's the word I mean. I don't think I can watch the whole Theon Becoming Reek season again, though. Or at least, those parts.
I have this inkling we're going to have her attack her kids, whenever the wights finally make it to the wall. Cuz that's how zombies roll. It would be bizarre and pointless if she didn't appear again.
I love TWD, but it kind of sucks, too. I enjoy the episodes, certainly, but they're never *great.* The characters are too thinly-drawn.
Also, end of Ferris Beuller.
I was glad to see A Series of Unfortunate Events listed here, as I was so surprised it never became a movie franchise… not that I necessarily wanted it to, but I worked in a bookstore at the height of the series' popularity, and new releases were anticipated with the kind of eager joy I only witnessed with the Harry…
Cersei's walk was the second time I've considered abandoning watching the show (first time was Theon's castration). I know they show a penis here and there, but the full-on female nudity is just over the top.
No, just on The Daily Show.
I get you. I would like to hear his voice and his opinions. But I've never seen him be sincere. I love Stewart's mix of sincerity and humor. I couldn't picture any of TDS correspondents taking over, because they're always playing characters, and not themselves.
I wonder if it's illegal to burn the Confederate flag, like it is with the actual U.S. flag.
