During the summer, I’ll stop at the supermarket on the way home and buy a head of lettuce, cucumber, croutons, red & green pepper, can of olives, and dressing. I’ll use half of the ingredients (except the croutons & olives) to make a big salad in a big bowl for dinner that night and the next.

I approve.

Fuuuuck, today is rough. Last summer my dad shot my mother and then himself. This is my first year without her. We were having a rare fight and hadn’t spoken in 5 days and the last text I have from her is “I guess I’m not supposed to have feelings.” All I want to do today is hug her again. Just for one minute. And

Ms. Franch loves this show because it’s a comedy without anything resembling the mean or insulting elements of comedy.

This is seriously the worst news I’ve heard all day. Netflix/Amazon/TNT, please pick this up and continue...

Argh! I loved it! I love that the humor was stupid funny without making them bad at their jobs or falling into too many tropes. So many great characters!

Ugh I am so angry at this! I watched this show every week and loved it. I mean I am glad it went as long as 5 seasons unlike some other shows who got cancelled after one, but it should have been renewed!

You’re right, it’s not. Dennis Miller completely transformed after 9/11. Used to love his HBO show and was shocked at how hard he pivoted, although even before that he called himself a progressive conservative. Still, it was a shock. Happens, I guess.

“I believe the original character would’ve said, ‘Who cares [about having Muslim neighbors]?’ And now she’s saying she does care.”

This is probably the best comment I have ever read. No hyperbole.

Lets face it: Donna’s story is over and they got Cher who adds way more pizzazz. Always thought Meryl was a strange casting choice.

Here’s a fun game:

Don’t care how mediocre/bad this is. Cher is in it. And I worship my diety enough to pay to see this at the cinema three times at the very least.

You’re able to keep your kid in clothes?!?

My mom went to great lengths to appease my aversion to tags, cutting them all out (this was long before printed-on tags were a thing). I still find *some* tags unbearable and won’t buy/wear a shirt because of them. Same goes for thick screen-printed graphic tees. They bother me/make me super uncomfortable.

For a film about two kind of book dumb rockers, the series has its historical in jokes, deep conversations and understanding about the causal effects of time travel, and some of the most heartwarming, life-affirming messages you can get.

For years, I treated the Bill & Ted movies as a mindless, guilty pleasure, which in some ways I suppose they are. But at some point, I saw that interview where Alex Winters is talking with Keanu Reeves about their relationship Death, and he says something along the lines of “of course they get along with Death,

When I was 16 I had dreams of being a screenwriter and my favorite movies were B&T. I wrote a letter to Chris and Ed, the writers, and they sent me a copy of BOTH screenplays, signed, and a really nice “keep at it” letter. (Fun fact: B&T Bogus Journey was originally called B&T Go to Hell, the title on the screenplay I

Capaldi should have had more episodes and better writing, he was absolutely robbed.
