It more like being invited to a wedding (where food generally served) but not the reception. Except they’re not even invited to the actual wedding. They’re invited to be outside on the grounds of the church while the wedding takes place so they can clap or wave or whatever after the wedding when they walk out of said

I cannot understand how they shot the whole movie with her like that. It’s legitimately jarring... Unless it’s somehow a commentary on her being American maybe? I mean.. It does come off as sort of a weird and impossible character and I wonder what combination of writing, directing, acting, and producer interference

I love that movie, I don’t understand the need of making a series from it when you can watch the movie.

I hope this is good because I love the story but I never liked Andie MacDowell. She and Hugh Grant had absolutely no chemistry in the movie (and honestly, I’ve never liked her in anything), but I enjoy watching it anyway because I love British comedy and adore most of the other characters/actors.

Will it open with the “fuck” scene? If not, don’t bother

Her book and work kept the pressure on the police.

Chris Pine is not only the best Chris without anyone even being close (do not care to rank or remember the names of the others) but I learned today that Robert Pine IS HIS DAD! I don’t know how I missed that, but he was my favorite guy on CHiPs.

I’m here to forever stan for Chris Pine as the best Chris.

Yeah, that’s the thing. No one’s saying, “This book solved the case.” But McNamara’s efforts helped prompt the people who could solve the case. I still can’t believe, in this day and age, that police departments don’t work together more regularly, if not all the time. It’s insane if they don’t.

While the authorities have said that McNamara’s reporting had nothing to do with their arrest, I find that hard to believe. Surely, there must have been something in her work that the authorities also found in theirs that led to the arrest of this man.

Yeah, DW fan here and I did not care for Smith’s Doctor at all. I thought he made a good Philip, though.

He is one of my three least favorite Doctors. The concept that ppl were watching for him from DW is so silly.

I am a fan of both, but one has nothing to do with the other.

You’re forgetting one other Very Important royal Louis:

I’m going to pretend they named him after Louis XIV. The Sun King is back bitches, batten down the hatches at Versailles!

The only photos of Michelle we have rights to are of her alongside Patton. So it was either a close, awkward crop, or something resembling the one I used, which I think is actually sort of sweet—especially because he has continued her work.

I assumed he was dead or had been rotting in jail in a different state for decades. The idea he’s not only alive, but a former cop, and was apparently in California this whole time is ... wow.

This weekend, I fell down the rabbit hole of the Love Never Dies Wikipedia page. Boy, that musical makes absolutely no sense. Critics abhorred it and nicknamed it Paint Never Dries, which really tickles me.

And technically, bullshit is stool.

What am I supposed to sit upon at my breakfast bar then?? This is a real question, my new apartment has one of those boob-height tiered countertop peninsulas and I want some way to sit at it so I can drink coffee and glower at my roommate in the morning.
