Going by the WTA rankings, Serena has twice as many points as Halep and Masha (12000 to their 6000). I’m too lazy to read about what goes in to determining that, but I say she just flat-out dominates.

Someone echoed this on another article. If Venus wasn’t in Serena’s draw, I would not have been shocked if she made it to the final.

I was so conflicted during this match. Serena has my utmost respect and I want her to get to 22 majors. Venus has my sympathy because she’s been struggling with a rare and strange chronic illness.
