@zenmoused: I have to agree with you...

@chris0089: If you have an extra motherboard laying around...

@muzicman82: You should wait until the end of this year. I love my phone, but newer androids seem to get better and better, and there are supposed to be some released near the end of this year.

@LARPkitten: Yeah... though there were other android apps for just facebook chat and ebuddy does facebook chat. I'm still switching to Trillian, I'm just saying it's not really a new thing.

@tonyx3: Are you sure? It only lets you use skype on the desktop?

@Neeraj Verma: And that's why I stopped using my online banking at one bank. I got locked out trying to figure out which password I used and the only way to unlock it is to go to the bank in person and talk to someone.

@Tim Raines: Some computers are using facial recognition to log in, now. They claim that a photo of you would not work. I don't know if they're easy to bipass like the fingerprint ones, though. They probably are.

@Daft.Vader: Yeah. Most of the things I use passwords for are silly. It's not the end of the world if someone hacks my facebook. Plus, facebook seems to have security for this (someone in Japan tried once and Facebook stopped them. I then changed my password). I'd want a good password for something like paypal,

@aeronaut: There's no way I could memorize %!v7{z*(=N

@tylerchristie: You can. I had a flashdrive that came with a fingerprint reader that was required to access half of it. You could have it remember your passwords like "%!v7{z*(=N" (which I made with a generator someone else post in the comments) and auto input them when you scan your finger.

I used to live in the dorms. I got a single in a suite (as a sophomore!). My best friend had the other single, and there was also a double. My (male) friend had pulled me in, making it a mixed gender suite. We didn't realize that this meant the school would NOT fill the double for us and ended up with 3 days to

@Jacknut: I actually like the idea of having it on multiple calendars. I have each calendar as a different color. This makes resolving scheduling conflicts even easier. (e.g. "Oh, that's blue [work], the purple will have to move/cancel.") By default, I'm looking at all of my calendars, but this also makes it easy

@Ben R: I believe FFixer adds links to each friend "add birthday to google calendar/ical". This is great for people who only want less than half of their friend's birthdays on the calendar. I know one of the scripts I'm using does it.

I love the new look and am more and more tempted by the alienware. After the coupons, I got it down to $3,500ish. I made a few upgrades, like the 2 256 SSD...

@theCyborg: Oh, have you tried having gmail also mark it as read right away? If it's just an archive, that is probably the easiest way.

@Anne Boleyn: Suggest Moodle to them as a Blackboard alternative. It's not necessarily "better", but it's not worse and it's more student oriented. Also, it's free. Schools like to save money. Mine is slowly switching.

@radink: I really hate when people try to say there are 2 categories; macs and pcs. Macs are PCs. If you're going to talk about the OS, why not say "Windows"? If you're talking about hardware, why can't you stop making broad generalizations that really don't apply across the board when you can say what you mean

@DemiSouls: I've read that it is faster in general, but that could have to do with games that update while you play. It probably depends on how the game saves and if saving completely on the computer, whether it saves automatically or not. If it's completely on your computer (not running much of it from a remote

@Shayne Jones: I'm so jealous... my laptop gets hot enough to burn me. I need to have ~500GB on my computer, though, as I install multiple big games, and I just can't justify ~$1,300 in hard drives.

@Kaiser-Machead v.2.1.1: I can't justify what I want either. 2 256GB SSD would make me happy, and that would cost $1300ish. I need big spaces that aren't external as I install multiple big games.
