Cool!  I’ll probably tune back in for that then (whenever I get a chance to watch it, anyways - non-kid tv time is limited).

They were so cute!  Someone gave me an adipose plush toy at some point, but then my daughter saw it and decided it was Beekle from this picture book she has (https://www.amazon.com/Adventures-Beekle-Unimaginary-Friend/dp/0316199982), so now my adipose has a felt crown sewn onto its head to make it more Beekle-like.

But, do Nicole and Waverly finally get married?  They were the characters that kept me tuning in as I started getting frustrated with Wynona and Doc’s bs.

Me too - you’d think they’d have to be getting the ball rolling on this, given how much response it has had.

I don’t think consecutively, but yes if you count the newer seasons too?

Totally variable, depending on the individual circumstances (as long as it isn’t causing harm/danger to anyone, and/or impairing their ability to be a functional human being).

Exactly - the ages really popped out at me.  She’s been with this guy her whole adult life, and that bears consideration.  But generally, 4 years is a long time, and if they haven’t found a good equilibrium in that amount of time, then it’s time to call it (definitely not time to escalate by having kids).

That kind of depends on what you mean by “and they’re right.” Yeah, there’s a lot of racism in historically liberal towns/states, so it’s correct in that sense. But, those sorts of arguments are often used to try and deflect from/excuse conservatives’ own racism, or to argue that proposed reforms are racist (cries of

As far as I know, it still isn’t - banking cord blood is, because it has some medical uses.  People can choose to donate theirs, which is a nice thing to do, or you can pay to bank yours specifically for if your kid develops some obscure disease, which as far as I can tell is a bit more of a scam?

I stopped listening to NPR over the summer, because there were too many times in their coverage of the BLM protests and discussions about policing where they’d present “both sides” of an issue, but never challenge the untruths that were being presented - eg, a representative from a police union asserting that they’ve

Always happy to recommend Sneakers - an excellent hacker movie, and a really fun ensemble cast.

I’m a little torn, because this sounds really interesting in terms of the subject matter, but the artistic style is really not my jam, from what little we see here, and that’s a problem in a graphic novel (in terms of “will I like this” - art is subjective, obviously).

But for real, where are all those Q nuts who were so concerned about fake sex trafficing, now that there are legitimate accusations against an elected official?  They seem awfully conspicuous by their absence - no longer concerned with “saving the children”?

It’s the pointy Jack Nicholson eyebrows.

So that’s on brand, then

Yeah, that’s the point - the Republicans only fuss about the debt when they’re not the ones in power.

Totally agree.  I’ve always been pro choice, but it really became a much more viceral concern for me when there were questions about whether my fetus was going to be viable or not. If I kept the baby, and things went wrong after the 24 week mark but before week 28, (and no one could tell me likelihoods for different

Hey, leave agnostics out of it! I might not know if God exists or not, but neither do you, if you’re being honest (faith != knowledge). That has absolutely nothing to do with where someone is on the political spectrum, where all the facts are out there and freely available to take informed stances on different topics.

Is she open to the idea of therapy?  Not just because this must be frustrating for you, but if she could figure out what’s going on with herself and work through these trust issues, she might be a lot happier in the long run.

Interestingly, that friend does this sort of chameleon thing whenever she moves to a new place where she gets a whole new wardrobe that matches the locale (surfer wear in Hawaii, high end yoga wear in California, tennis/country club wear in Connecticut, boho art girl at a liberal arts school in new england, fancy
