His new show is the most generic of generic sitcoms, but hey, he’s getting a payday, and I’m glad at least one member of that talented cast has found a paying gig even if I have no intention of watching it.

But keep in mind, Whedon has done some bad shit in the past such as leverage his position to sleep with with aspiring actresses and writers and the whole debacle with Charisma Carpenter.

I’m pretty sure there have been plenty of not-so-hush rumors and allegations about Whedon being toxic over the years, w/r/t your “something we haven’t really heard about him from other projects” comments. Maybe it just hasn’t come to light until one straw finally broke the back, as with most toxic personalities.

Imagine Whedon trying to intimidate someone who was in the Israel Defense Force. Someone who is just as badass as playing the actual Wonder Woman.

Totally agree he can rot in juvie.  Daniel’s daughter became very annoying once she started “vibing” with Robby.  Hopefully we aren’t put through a season of her visiting him in the clink and pining for him through plexiglass.

Yep. They both suck, and any scene that’s Robbie and Sam together just amplifies the sucktitude. Bad actors, stupid hair (at least Robbie), motivations that don’t make any sense. Just write them out of the show already.

Though rather oddly there’s no sign of Ali despite the obvious tease at the end of Season 2.

This. I think the show does a good job in subtly acknowledging just how stupid it is for Daniel and Johnny to have competing mid-life crisies and she’s well depicted as the voice of reason rather than the nagging wife a lesser show might have made her.

I’m going to give a special shoutout to Amanda LaRusso and her actor here. The writers have done such a good job building up Daniel’s wife, someone who absolutely does not give a shit about karate, and still keeping us from seeing her as an enemy.
