I spent the whole last season on pins and needles every time Bubbles was on screen, I was SO SCARED he was going to meet a tragic end.

The movie was adapted from a French graphic novel. The whole story is three volumes, and the movie mostly only used the first volume for its story, so there’s a lot more source material to use as reference for a TV show.
Agreed on this list. I would be bummed to hear bad stuff come out about most of the MCU dudes, but learning Chris Evans isn’t IRL Captain America would break my heart.
I watched Blade SO MANY times in high school because of a friend’s crush on Stephen Dorff. He was hot AF in that movie— right up until the end, anyway.
There were so many good scenes in Legion, because the whole show has such a cool, stylized look to it. My favorite scenes were the Silent Movie Sequence, and dancing to Nina Simone— and maybe the Bollywood Dance sequence too.
I had my first full glass of it yesterday at my office holiday party. Usually I’ll take a sip of someone’s eggnog, remember that I don’t like it, and that’ll be it for another couple years. But my co-worker brought in her “homemade special recipe” so I felt professionally obligated to drink the whole thing.
Yup, season finale. It was kind on insane (I won’t spoil it for you).
Yes, Titus! Kimmy Schmidt is HIS show, and he kills it.
Mike Schur’s shows deserve so much more love than they get. The Good Place and Brooklyn Nine-Nine are two of the best comedies currently on TV.
I finally saw Baby Driver this weekend, after a bunch of friends have been singing its praises since the summer, and I was underwhelmed. Maybe it was overhyped, but I thought it was mostly style (the driving sequences were excellent and some of the music moments were great), and very little substance. I could see…
I went to Indianapolis for the first time this year, and it’s a really cool city. We were in town for the Indy 500, but stayed in an Airbnb walking distance to the Fountain Square neighborhood, which was a super cool area!
I think the fact that they also included women who have made complaints and spoken up, but still wish to remain anonymous counters that message.
Oh man, I forgot about Sunshine! That’s a great movie. Even when they’re not great, I typically like the action/sci-fi movies he’s in— like Push or The Losers. And Scott Pilgrim is one of my favorite movies. Basically I’m a sucker for well-done fight scenes and action sequences.
They’re not all terrible. I thought Snowpiercer was great— its action sequences (the axe fight and the classroom fight) and performances made the insane premise work. And What’s Your Number? is one of the better rom-coms I’ve seen in years. That’s mostly due to the charisma of the leads, but I also really appreciated…
