For people who like the Gentlemen Bastards, I recommend the Rogues of the Republic series, beginning with The Palace Job, by Patrick Weekes. It’s another fun fantasy series, and this one has a really diverse ensemble cast.

I just finished Fellside by MR Carey this weekend, and fucking loved it. His last book, The Girl with All the Gifts (which I also highly recommend) is coming out as a movie sometime in 2017. Fellside is really cool-- it mixes prison drama, crime thriller, and ghost story altogether into a really original story.

The Lies of Locke Lamora is excellent, as is Lynch’s entire Gentlemen Bastards series. Plus, they pick up a lot more awesome female characters in the next two books!
