There’s a simple solution to all this micro-transaction baloney, and it’s not waiting for the government to step in. It’s to stop buying it. They wouldn’t be doing it if it wasn’t profitable. Plain and simple.

Leave it to Microsoft to splinter a game so many times that you have to pick a ‘version’ that gives you the features you want instead of pushing the features to all copies.

That’s why I just gave up and went and got myself a Raspberry Pi 3. Yeah, it’s not perfect, requires a bit of setup, and is about the same price after all the other stuff you’d need like controllers and whatnot.
