I adored Lillie’s transformation in Sun/Moon. I like when RPGs make the player not a hero and more of a right hand man of the proper lead. Though I agree that Black and White are just phenomenal, and seem to age better and better. 

X/Y wasn’t bad, either. The post-game stuff in Alpha Sapphire and the other one is also really good.
