Yeah - I think Sweden is the one to watch... and Czech Republic, possibly. Obviously Canada is ALWAYS a top contender. Not super psyched about Team USA. Goaltending's a big concern.

It could be better. But I have a few sleepers in the lineup.
Henrik Sedin, John Tavares, Brad Richards, Andrew Ladd, Alexander Semin, T.J. Oshie, Jamie Benn, P.K. Subban, Erik Karlsson, Ryan Suter, Brian Campbell... goalies are Brodeur and Smith. Have Gabby sitting on IR.
I hear you. My fantasy hockey team name is No Pink Hats. :)
I seriously hope I didn't sound like a Boston snob (I think Louisville is great!). It's just that there are a LOT of female sports fans in New England!
Hmm... curious as to where you live, and your age. I'm a 40 year old Bostonian and a huge sports fan (I will be jumping between the Pats game, the Bruins game, and the Figure Skating Championships tonight). While some dudes still express surprise or skepticism at my sports knowledge and enthusiasm, it's definitely not…
I may not know much - but I know shoes.
Or frayed threads on cheap shoes...
It's a lovely dress. However, it's the exact OPPOSITE of a flattering cut for me (I'm curvy and not tall enough to carry off that hemline)... so I shall sigh wistfully and admire it without coveting it for myself.
Lab/Pit mix. She's a total love!
Ah, what the hell, one more.
My Maggie loves the snow!
It's just a formal declaration... it's ALWAYS The Year of Cheese in my world.
YES!
I hear you loud and clear. My previous BF was a sometimes-very-strict vegan... often a very strict vegetarian... and I'm a whiskey-swilling, burger loving, sauce-making butter queen. My current BF will literally eat ANYTHING I COOK, whether it's a pizza or a baked veggie gratin. It's so nice!
Oh, I can't survive without ANY of those 3 things. :)
I'm going to go retro this year.
All the ladies in the house say yeah... (yeah!)
I'm well aware of that connotation - I am a descendant of Travellers, myself. I didn't intend to trivialize Romani culture in using the term. I was referring more to my own lifestyle (as well as a song from my youth). But I certainly wouldn't want anyone to take offense to it, so apologies.
Sorry, what?
