You perfectly summed up my feelings - right down to every "should have won" opinion.

Oldman is one of the best. I watch Immortal Beloved and Leon at least three times a year.

They weren't in the same category though - Oldman was up for Best Actor while Plummer won Best Supporting Actor. I wanted Oldman to win as well - Dujardin was charming, but Oldman gave a master class.

Can't trust much in The Daily Fail.

That's what I thought of as well. It's definitely too soon, IMO. Maya's got plenty of other options that she's sure to be awesome at though.

What an interesting, well-written and insightful read. Makes me want to read the thesis - and the screenplay, which sounds like a great idea (especially if it mocks and busts a few cliches).

I'm super thankful that my company is family-friendly.... excellent Family Leave policy, flexible hours and we have a lactation room in our office. I don't have kids and don't plan to, but it's hard enough being a working parent, so any accommodations on behalf of employees with kids is cause for appreciation, IMO.
