Nintendo: No one could come up with a worse name for a console than Wii U.

Protip, never use your bank card online. If anything happens its much tougher to get your money back. With credit cards it is easier to refute the charge and have it taken off. At least that is my experience with Discover

Agreed, this is not the way to earn favor. now if they did it to EA, then that would be another matter.

also, CDPR has a tendancy to release everything anyway, maybe not internal documents, but all their games are released completely free of any sort of DRM (at the very least, DRM forced on them by previous publishers they were in contract with would be removed shortly after launch), so i don’t think these guys’ jimmies

What I’m getting from this thread is: “Have one kid.”

Uh, creepy Natalie Portman from Léon: The Professional is creepy.

“I want my huge tittied 15 year olds” is a very strange hill to die on.

I never understood why people hate the idea of bullet trains so much when their main purpose would be to compete with airlines.

I would spend shameful amounts of money on that game. If it was on the Switch? VERY shameful amounts of money...

Games like this (and Thief, Maniac Mansion, C&C:Generals, Bards Tale, Dune RTS, etc) are why I keep a W98 system on my shelves. I only turn it on a few times a year but it’s always fun :)

It has no internet connection and has both a 5.25 and 3.5 floppy simply BECAUSE it’s designed to run the native games

***And yes, I

Odd, it was completely opposite for me. I own boxed copies of Icewind Dale 1&2, Baldur’s Gate 1&2 & Planescape, but could never get any of them running properly* (well, not well enough that I was happy with them) in fullscreen widescreen at a decent res on Win7, apart from Planescape which was fairly easy to mod &

K. Bye!!! Have a great rest of the weekend :)

So, you think a company wanting to sell product purposely withholds said product to... manipulate consumers? Obviously it doesn’t work, as this shit gets parroted around so often. Those who want to buy don’t want to buy it because there are no stocks. They want it because they just do. How silly.

How is it false? It’s exactly what’s happening. They don’t withhold products, they just don’t make enough of them. They’re very conservative when it comes to manufacturing, apparently. They try to avoid surplus, pretty sure even the Wii U doesn’t have much surplus either despite no one wanting it. That’s very very

I would like to remind everyone that this is not censorship and that Playtonic as a private business has the right to express itself as they see fit. If they do not wish to include voice work by a controversial figure in their video game that is well within their right. Jon’s free speech was not violated in any way

Do you really think Nintendo didn’t test the dock out a billion times during quality control? they did and I’m sure they tried a bunch of different configurations. What would they gain by sending a product to retail that scratches your screen?

Because there is nothing to worry about. A lot of overblown drama about all of this.

I’m pretty sure that it’s in the basement of one of the cameramen. They were going to throw it out after the shoot but he managed to pull some strings.

I keep saying it every time this list gets updated, but DKC Tropical Freeze is significantly better than at least a couple games on this list. It might not be a revolutionary game, but it’s a damn good game nonetheless, and easily one of the best Wii U exclusives. But of course, opinions etc. etc., words and such.
