FF VIII definitely had the most well-plotted and realistic cities, save for maybe Mayor Dobe in FH living in a freakishly bright area, with all those panels there.

So many cities and worlds in these jrpg games that come off looking, not just cool, but genuinely unique and original, something a lot of games fail to achieve. People don’t give these jrpgs enough credit for that.

Nothing odd about it, the game had some great environments. It was a triumph of esthetic design in a lot of ways.

All I know is that when Adobe Flash/Shockwave plug-ins weren’t crashing or slowing down my browser, they were bugging me about updating to plug yet another security hole.

Kinda like when a guy shouts “I still love you!” while murdering his girlfriend.
