Was I the only one who wanted some Pikmin news?
Still at work, won't be home till 5am. I'll get a bit of sleep and then I'll do what I been dreaming about since Tuesday, play MHGU online.
I was going to stick with guild, but I tried out valor after watching a vid, and holy shit... All I can say is it’s going to be real hard going back to World GS after this.
You are right about that, I went from “I love this game” to “...” to turning it off, putting the cartridge back in its case, taking a picture of it and listing it on eBay while the early interest was still there. It’s the reason I will not play Octopath Traveler or anything by that team. They are great at JRPG combat…
Gonna try and beat Iconoclasts before MHGU comes out on Tuesday.
There is no substitute for an Imperial IPA.
Wow, that Samus Returns review might be the most egregious example yet. That is so damn dishonest and repugnant. You are lucky enough to have a good job reviewing video games, which a lot of people would love to have, and this is what you do with that opportunity? Steal other people’s reviews from sites with far less…
Can confirm its beauty. It’s well worth $40.

If any JRPG had gameplay as good as Monster Hunter, I would be delighted, but that is far from the case. The combat in MH is so unbelievably superior to any RPG I’ve played it’s not even close. (Dark Souls/Bloodborne have great combat too, but not as deep as MH, in my opinion.) Most of my favorite RPGs are usually…
Reviewing a Monster Hunter game after 30 hours, is like reviewing Zelda: Breath of the Wild after finishing the great plateau.
Yeah, I would have bought the game on Steam, but I heard it was coming to Switch. (Expect to hear this a lot from now on.)
The funniest Let’s Play I’ve seen, by far, is Prepare to Try - Dark Souls. It’s a riot and the theee friends have a great rapport.
I knew nothing about the details, but assumed from this article that she was dealing with a mansplaining troll. After reading the post that caused her ire, I have to side with the company, that was an extremely angry and unreasonable response, and I don’t think one can argue her employers had every right to fire her.
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. Legit. Perfect for short bursts.
Why is it that Western RPG narrative has grown so much, and JRPG’s seem to regress to an insane level? I mean when you think of Dragon Quest V, Chrono Trigger, FFVI, etc... those games had really compelling story and characters. I can’t think of anything (besides Persona) that has even half of that in past years.
I would write a very similar review for Bravely Default to this. Actually the story was such a slap in the face, that after a certain fashion show segment I couldn’t make myself finish the game I felt so grossed out by it. It’s a full on assault on your intelligence. Characters and story this vapid shouldn’t exist in…
So you’re saying Jason is a phony who gets drunk and assaults cops?
Apparently it was Buffed for an dlc update, Traitor Lord used to be “easy”. The worst part is that I didn’t think to create a dream door right before the fight until attempt 15. I did beat it, but then I dreamed nailed my friend instead of listening to her. I thought the game had saved after the boss, so I quit the…
