I’m surprised Freedom Unite made it, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate or Even X is vastly superior.

I was almost done with everybody by the end of my first playthrough except for the drunk journalist and the fortune teller. I might do a new game + and date everybody, except Oracle and the drunk Journalist. Awkward skinny nerdy teens and alcoholic journalists with no sense of style don’t do it for me.

You’re wrong. The 3D in several games was great, in the Monster Hunter series for instance it made distance gauging much more precise, and some of Link Between Worlds dungeons are brilliantly built around 3D.

The other thing you didn’t mention in Link’s Awakening is the fact that there are mini platform levels in the dungeons with piranha plants and goombas. Link can even crush goombas Mario-style once he acquires the feather.

Makoto for me on this round, I turned down everyone else and it felt right. Might do a dirty dog run on New Game + and date everybody.
