There are thousands of people who are unable to pick up a king duvet and give it a good shake. Also, in nursing school students are taught about the effects flapping sheets and spreading dust. All this seems so unnecessary now, and I’ll be gone in 40 years when you are unable to extend your arms far enough or when

Elsewhere here I read about poaching 1 egg in a glass measuring cup with 1/2 cup water. I do this all the time now. I am wondering if that water could be exchanged for your soy egg mixture (plus maybe a touch of ginger?). Mañana.

Water gets recycled in many places and there are systems where water is pumped out of local rivers and then filtered. If the particles are so small, then can pass through filters and into local water systems.

See also: Olivio, which I know is not butter, but is acceptable on sandwiches or for frying.  Yeah, sometimes I require pure butter and then I scrape the top of the stick of butter to shave off a spreadable layer.

This is perfect for spreading on radishes.

The presence of some garlic can make it appealing to people who don’t think much of broccoli.

You’re determined to use those melamine pads, despite the fact that they are putting microplastics into the water system. Soaking with either a detergent or a mild acid (vinegar) will eventually loosen the burned-on food. When using non-stick pans, you have to get them squeaky clean or anything left on the surface

A friend who was doing inspections found he was getting much less business because he was too thorough.

Young people with very little life experience giving advice that is frequently faulty. Because they may never have owned a home, they don’t understand that chlorine can have an bad effect on grout over time. You gotta rinse it off after it does its job.

I really dislike headlines that use absolute terms like “Always” or “Never”. For many people the advice is right, but not Always or in Every case. A purchased car can be subject one to more significantly depreciation loss than anticipated. For some people who don’t drive very much in any year, a lease is just fine.

$500 is great, but there’s nothing wrong with $100 in cash. It’s not at all pleasant, but it’s almost always possible to put aside $2-$5 a week until you have $100. We’re not trying to make people uncomfortable by suggesting $500, but we all know that stuff happens, and at that time, cash is king. Maybe it will start

In 2022,  over 350,000 cars were totaled in Florida alone. Some of them will eventually get back into the market so look carefully or have a mechanic do it for you.

Your southern roots are showing. S & S cafeterias throughout the south have been offering a form of baked slaw since early forever. I had forgotten it because - no good cafeterias in SW FL. The last Morrisons’s folded about 25 years ago. I love baked slaw when it gets that little bit of crusty top, and it’s a

Actions have consequences. Melamine particles get into water supplies - think microplastics. “Melamine foam is a human-made, non-recyclable, non-biodegradable substance, unlike your trusty cellulose sponges”.

Short ribs and oxtails have been priced beyond my stew budget but I can still get decent chuck. When I cook vegetables during the week I save the juices in the various pots and add the to the stew that goes into the oven on Saturday with the plan that it will beaten on Sunday.

Nice photos of those homes, but maybe a picture of a 2BR/2BA would be closer to reality.  Most first-time buyers really cannot afford $750K.

Salty and vinegary... what’s not to like?

Hotels are paid.

Arnold, or Pepperidge Farm white bread with Velveeta and - in 1954 this was a culinary sensation - a sprinkle of thyme! Who knew back then that one could add spices to grilled cheese? Another unheard of change back then was slight dash of mustard. What would they think of next? When I was in college we starving
