What is this “interest of lower calories “ you speak of?   I read the recipe three times and I am very concerned about the absence of butter.  Where is Claire and what have you done with her?

I looked at the condensed version and they are basically juvenile. I would cheerfully click on a box 10 times to avoid slideshows. It’s unfortunate that business is bad and they need to beg for clicks.

Great idea. Coffee has that roasted condition that would be otherwise missing. This, again, is why we come here. I already have an idea of slipping a pinch of coffee into a veggie concoction.

Maybe a few clues as to the preparation? I bought goat in NYC and I remember it as being very lean and tough, requiring hours cooking in a moist environment.  It was called chivo and it was relatively inexpensive and I was very broke.

No, it’s the fact that some fragrances cause asthma.  Asthma and an allergic reaction are health conditions.

I’ll leave a restaurant if the servers wear cologne. Part of the pleasure of good food is the aroma and someone’s cologne means I can’t taste my food I’ve wasted a meal.

I don’t know about both relish and Miracle Whip in salad.  That’s getting into serious sweetness instead of just a hint.

They get as hot as the flame beneath them. If you have one with a little metal mass in the bottom, it holds the heat when you put something cold into it. I generally start with meat close to room temperature.

You specified stainless steel or cast iron. My first thought would’ve been to go for a nonstick pan. Any special reason you didn’t want nonstick?

It is deeply annoying that I didn’t think of this, despite the fact that I coat my turkey with mayo so it comes out golden with no basting, and I’ve even made the mayo cake.  Just didn’t make the link. Thank you Claire.

The problem with Crisco is that it says Crisco on the can and that’s not impressive enough for some of these woo bakers.

This works very well with the green leaves on cauliflower, too.  Needs Romano on top.

That's the DR business model use somebody else's infrastructure and build houses that look very much like the neighboring houses but are much cheaper.
