That's what the showrunner said in an interview. They're preparing us for the emotional impact of Jack's death now, but we won't learn how exactly he died until Season 2.
But yeah, I'm confident because I'm obviously joking 90% of the time. Obviously Jack is not going to get syphilis, obviously he's not going to go to

I used to think the bad make up was responsible for her not being believable as their mother. Honestly, that make up is almost as bad as Mulder's in "Dod Kalm." Now, unfortunately, I'm starting to think Mandy Moore is just not strong enough of an actress. She does a good job in the flashbacks, but her acting lacks

They're not going to reveal it this season, that's the storyline for next year. He'll probably get in an accident next week, but he's not going to die yet.

They could have sent durian.

Subtelty is for cable tv. This is a soap.

I will die and go to heaven if they do this. Can this be the song Rebecca sings on stage when Jack dies?

No mention of whatever it was Toby was wearing to the fun-eral? Jesus Christ, what was that? How did Kate not kick his ass right then and there?

Plot twist. They revealed in an interview that they aren't going to show Jack's death this season. they're leaving that for next year.

I'm pretty sure the mother was mentioned on the first or second episode. William said she had passed away. It was also clear from the flashbacks. But it's still weird that Randall wouldn't even visit her grave. Then again, women don't really exist on this show, they're just plot devices for men.

It's definitely a red herring, otherwise they wouldn't promote it so heavily in the trailers for next week. My guess is he'll get into an accident next week and goes to jail or something.
And then he gets killed in jail while Kate is visiting. Probably not, but a girl cat dream. Why do I keep coming up with much more

What about Troy?

Drunk driving is the most cliche they could go. Cheating could have been interesting if he got syphilis and died from the untreated disease while Kate was on tour.
This show would be so much more entertaining if all of my weird storyline ideas came true.

Did he buy the theater, too? I think the venue's insurer would have a say. Kevin can now be considered a high risk factor.

Nope. I'm hate-watching at this point. Well, maybe not hate-watching, but hoping against hope that it gets better. Which it doesn't. It gets worse.

I don't imagine even people like Brantley or Roberta Smith having assistants. Not in the year 2017. Not even Jerry Saltz.

I've been wondering about the cat, too. I hate it when the writers introduce an element/character solely for the purpose of the drama of one episode and then they just drop it. They did with with the cat, they did it with Denis O'Hare, they did it with Kate's job.
Anyway, it's safe to assume the cat is dead. Nobody has

There was nothing professional about his behavior.

I'm surprised we haven't seen any rats or even mice. Those are everywhere in New York and nobody even pays attention to them.

My problem is that they don't develop any new relationships. I would understand it if they just stayed with the same core group of friends. But that group has desintegrated. Hannah doesn't keep in touch with Jessa or Shosh. Her social circle has shrinked to Marnie and Elijah, and doesn't include anyone else. The same

Wiser words have never been said.
