That selling my 1959 Chevy Apache 3200 was the right decision.

Breaking news! If you violate laws that you’re unaware of, you may face consequences that you’re not entirely comfortable with!

Do you think Overstock may be positioning to try to compete with Amazon?

Do you think Overstock may be positioning to try to compete with Amazon?

Also worth mentioning; TURN YOUR STEERING WHEEL TO FULL LOCK! There are so many reasons this happens, but there is often uneven wear between the inside and outside edge of a tire, and thinking you’re golden because you only looked at the outside edge of your tread can be a very costly mistake.

So Tesla’s statement was very clear about the ownership of certain elements and seemingly intentionally leaves out other elements:

What on earth is the point, aesthetically or functionally, of that split rear window??? I love the idea of them but it just looks like a “yeah, rich people will love this shit” afterthought.

So can we expect them to start selling Plexus and Mary Kay products in about 3 weeks?

The problem with that comparison is that there is a specific law preventing gun manufacturers from being sued for the actions of users of their products. No such law exists for auto manufacturers.

I, a Tesla hater, will constantly defend Tesla in this particular situation. Treating a Level 2 system like Level 5 is not Tesla’s fault, it’s the operator’s.

That said, if a modern Toyota will screech unceasingly at me for any occupant’s seatbelt not being fastened, then a forward-thinking brand like Tesla can make it

When I cosigned my fiancée’s Focus ST loan 3 years ago we were planning to take whatever cash incentive insteadand pay a higher payment over a shorter term for a lower overall cost than the 0% for 72 months offered by Ford. The cash rebate in lieu of 0% for 72 was $250. Not $2,500, $250. We’re still paying the car off

It’s worth explaining (maybe Tom could do an article) that a 0% loan is not free. It comes at the cost of something else because somewhere, someone along the line HAS to pay for that loan. No bank is going to voluntarily give you free money for the privilege of taking on your collateralized risk.

This guy is hitting on all cylinders:

So you mean it’s more like hitting a pothole on the sidewalk, where you’re not supposed to be driving.

Copied verbatim from my own comment in the initial article about this crash, in the context of responding to someone chiding Tesla for beta testing autonomy on the general populace. I’m no Tesla fanboi, but:

“Tesla cannot entirely shoulder the blame if a driver is treating a Level 2 system like Level 5, and in that

I’m curious to know how those reviews break down by role; I would imagine that the majority of assembly line/factory floor/potentially unionized workers don’t have Glassdoor accounts to post reviews.

Don’t just get it inspected by an expert; take the time (and money, if needed) to actually get to know your expert so they know what your expectations are. If your budget hits the lower end of the available market, your expert should know that, and while their finding of fact shouldn’t change based on budget, their

Look, I’m a pretty staunch Tesla doubter, but the only thing more speculative than TSLA investors is your presumption that the details surrounding this crash, especially the use of autopilot, are anything but completely unknown at this time.

Tesla cannot entirely shoulder the blame if a driver is treating a Level 2

One day in the not too distant future, I’ll be sitting on an airplane just after landing, making a phone call to let my loved ones know I’ve arrived safely. Then, as I go to unbuckle my federally mandated seatbelt, nothing will happen. Well, not nothing, a small dollar sign will illuminate over my (and every other

IIRC Texas Mile happens on pavement.
