Unions are the only way to save the middle class. Good for you guys and best of luck.
Good for you guys. Truly.
So what you’re saying is, in reality addicts can be any race. Good. That’s you halfway. The other half is, are black teenagers commonly depicted as addicts on TV? And the answer to that is, ‘yes’. So you see the problem?
That its automatically assigned to the black character, who ends up sucking the life out of people while the rich white girl has no addiction and exudes light and healing. That doesn’t seem like it’s reinforcing any stereotypes?
Jesus, rein in the neckbeard, friend. People can feel differently about creative works and that’s totally okay.
Calm the fuck down.
How can we build a magical sky box that sits in your pocket, connects to all of the world’s knowledge, *and* plays games but we can’t cure cancer?
While I have not read all, I have read most of the new Cannon novels (excluding young adult and children stuff). I read tons of Legends books back in the day as well.
“Does New Gods excite anyone?”
It was a...ugh, never mind.
I wonder if that dudes-only TLJ guy made a cut of Black Panther with only white males talking in it.
I take it then that you’ve never seen the Empire Strikes Back?
Sorry. Carrie-Ann Moss and the Jeri storyline was easily the most engaging part of this season. I wanted to hate her, but I couldn’t. Then I’d root for her, and then I’d be left going “Hm.”
Sorry you missed out, but it’s literally NONE of those things. Nothing about this show is weird just to be weird.
Isn’t that precisely the cultural critique that the story is making?
Thank you.
I can understand that.
The Last Jedi did nothing to undo classic mythology. It was the first film to even bring up Sidious by name and the failures of the Jedi seen in the prequels. If anything, The Last Jedi did more to bridge the current trilogy with the previous ones.
