Republicans are openly hostile to us; Democrats are about the same on top of taking our votes for granted. Can we just ditch them both and go full communism already?

I cannot imagine a world where anyone thought he was actually that tall.

They. It’s two guys writing together. Ironically considering these comments, one of them is GRRM’s writing assistant.

I think it’s the flip side of the same principle. Erik Killmonger is a villain not because he does or does not advocate violence. It’s a superhero film that climaxes with a fight involving armored rhinoceroses. Everybody in the film is, at minimum, not anti-violence.

They should cast him in a live action adaptation of Robotech as Roy Fokker.

I think your understanding of how memory works is a little off.

Right? I’ll never understand the “childhood destroyed” nonsense...go back and watch the one you liked...it’s still there. Ignore the reboot. This is not hard. It’s called adulting.

I came over to post a link. Shot for shot to the video.

Technically this trailer works (as with most trailers) with all music

Considering Sabotage was a montage video and one of the first “cool” things any post 80s kid ever saw basically anything cut to be in montage works with the song ... or at least to the level that some poor soul bereft of taste will think it works. The conditioning of the human brain is amazing.

c’mon, don’t be mean - let the little white kids have their token white action figure.

Anyone else hoping for a Shuri/Tony/Rocket scene in Infinity War?

Rhythm of speech, I guess? Say the line with ‘looking’, then say the line without it.

“We need to break into that facility and free Chewie, but you have to know the place is heavily guarded by Stormtroopers. It’ll be extremely dangerous.”

oooh, snap!

Normally yes, but prequels are already one big wink. If the whole movie is “here’s how Han got his blaster, vest, dice, personality” I’ll be disappointed.

I agree this is an absurd amount of Star Wars, but if I may beat this dead horse for a moment; Johnson hasn’t backpedaled once. He’s taken time to explain obvious aspects of the movie to people who didn’t agree with his creative choices and want to reframe their feelings as a failure of his filmmaking.

I’m not sure which is worse: you, waiting in line 31 hours, or me, reading for ten minutes about you waiting in line for 31 hours.
