This concept never really sat right with me. Swamp Thing and Etrigan, etc are monsters, not heroes. They don’t team up for the greater good. They form uneasy alliances based usually on bribery and blackmail. And contrary to usual superhero form, they usually don’t solve problems with giant fights and explosions.

Agreed. But I’d even settle for rights to FF villains and ancillary characters. We need Galactus and his Heralds in the cosmic reaches of the MCU. Doctor Doom, Kang, Fin a Fang Foom, or even Mole Man would fit really well in a world with Avengers.

Somehow the things in the images below existed thousands of years before the Prequels and OT, and yet no one really remembers/mentions what the fuck went down with the Old Republic or the threat of the Sith, and some actually don’t believe in “hokey” weapons…
