For them to commit to a trilogy feels very substantial. I’d lean towards something that explores “new” territory while providing significant backstory/context/connective tissue for existing and future films and canon stories.

Only the ones the public will see or are meant to consume. It’s like expecting the the FBI to create logos for serial killers or terrorists they’re hunting / surveilling / investigating.
Except it’s not just the simple existence of a post-credits scene in a film that is the alleged “Marvel style” here, but instead it’s the use of such a scene(s) to build anticipation for the next film in its cinematic universe.
