Yup. George Lucas...master of restraint...

Yeah. I think the fans have placed more weight on the importance of Rey’s lineage than the films, novels, comics, and animated shows have so far. And I hope that remains. I actually took Rey’s conversation with Maz to heart, both in terms of what it meant for Rey in that moment and for the audience.

Yeah, same here. Was pleasantly surprised by what happened to Han and how it impacted both old and new characters on screen. And I was following spoilers. Somehow that either wasn’t a theory or I just missed people’s speculation.

I totally respect Filoni, but disagree about him heading the Story Group. I actually have some issues with his storytelling so far, and they’re similar ones I have with the Prequels. I like what’s been happening with the Story Group as is.

A picture is worth a thousand words...and a thousand levels of hue and saturation.

Yoda...or hell, maybe Bendu sends Kanan, Ezra, and Ahsoka to the Outer Rim because, like Sidious, it senses a new presence in the Force. (Snoke.)

True, but it hasn’t quite played out that way. Rebels has done quite a bit of shrinking. I’ve felt the Rebels appearances / cameos by film and Clone Wars characters range across a spectrum that starts with being appreciated at one end, being endearing somewhere in the middle, to being absolutely essential on the far

Well... The Falcon may or may not have had the Mini-Rig that docked in its forward mandibles in a previous life. (I’ve always assumed that this Kenner prototype was part of the inspiration for The Phantom/s. That and...eek...Trek’s shuttlecraft. Anyone know if the Rebels production team has explained what inspired

In the Snyder JL pic, who is the guy in the far left? His armor and shield look Mongolian, but wondering if he’s with the Amazons.

Awwwwwww... You can’t front on that.

And btw the use of the possessive “they’s” here demonstrates more knowledge of English language grammar and mechanics than one might assume upon first admittedly challenging read.

Thank you thank you thank you. Seeing and reading this hit me on a profoundly deep level, as your articles often tend to do. That is the most eloquent response I can make at the moment.

High school English teacher here. As part of my job I look for grammar errors/misuse. But I’ve never understood folks not being able to just live with others’ misuse, especially when it’s intentional.

According to the Roper Poll, ~4 million humans claim to have been abducted by aliens. So it’s only logical that there’d be at least two heroic humans living fantastic lives in far off solar systems...at least.*

Nah. I’m all for this. Love BBC shows like Sherlock, Strange & Norrell, and Ripper Street that can flesh out stories a bit more with the longer episode run times.

Technology and innovation in puppetry have both improved. I picture this with more of a budget.

It is weird how much noise is being made. Was trying to think back on how they were rolled out. Either the news/rumor outlets or Lucasfilm started us on the path by making it a story that these creatures would feature on Ahch-to, and it got picked up in a big way by fan reaction. Then the trailers and behind the

I know this movie isn’t directed at 4- and 6-year-old fans, but I just watched it with my two kids. The entire time they asked things like, “Who’s that?” or “Is that Superman?” or “What’s that thing? The Batmobile?” or “How come Flash looks different?” or “Wonder Woman has a shield? Captain American has a shield.” DC

Cool soundtrack in theory (and sonically), but as a whole it doesn’t gel. No duh, of course, since it’s literally thrown together from different film scores and pop songs. But I point out the obvious because these criticisms are the same I’d offer about the novel. Finished the book this week, and while I applaud the

My habit and experience as well. They never notice.
