No. Just don't do it.

Not a good idea. It would make it much easier for scammers to show the user fake websites that look like real banks, Facebook or whatnot when the user can't see that the URL is completely different.

Apple really should just buy some great software (and their developer company) and integrate or replace their own stuff with it. In this case they could've probably bought Instapaper fairly cheaply rather than create their own thing.

Pidgin is utter rubbish for IRC. Just like any other multi-IM software, IRC is just there for an impressive feature list, it usually just doesn't work well with the UI.

I find that most multiservice messaging apps are generally awful for IRC. Pidgin is a good example. Since I only use IRC and Skype really, I just have Linkinus and Skype installed.

Nah, now it only means that their products aren't a doorway to crap, they're just crap.

So I wonder if it will cause the mouse to stutter when you saturate the Wi-Fi bandwidth by transferring big files or streaming something. That's what happens with my Bluetooth mouse.

How on earth are they going to run more intensive stuff like games at that resolution? Upscaled from lower resolution?

Those ten programs on the PC, probably 8 of them are some old out of date crap made for XP, the 9th is just poorly designed and the tenth is actually good. I find that there is a significantly smaller amount of crap software for OSX than Windows.

I haven't upgraded my computer for several years because there haven't been any real big improvements since dual core processors. Yes, the Core i series is faster than my Core2Quad but only for very specific tasks, most of which I only do at work. For most everyday things they don't make a big difference. Likewise I

The Mighty Mouse was one of the worst mice I've ever tried.

I've never had a mousepad wear out. Sure, maybe a little wear in the edges but nothing significant on the surface itself.

Considering that Spotify's local music feature is pretty much rubbish (it creates a huge list of fucked up playlists for one) and there's no iPhone sync apparently, it's yet another Spotify update with nothing much to get excited about.

I'd probably still be on the Chrome dev channel if 1Password worked with it. It was generally stable and only broke things once in a while. So now I just use the beta channel.

This is no Stacks. It doesn't offer an easy view inside folders or anything. There are a few implementations of that for Windows but none seem to work as well as it does on OSX.

Also 10.6 only it seems. I guess I'll stick to the old one which generally works just fine. When we upgrade to 10.7 at the office I might grab the new version.

Try shoes. There's 3 different, not completely compatible measuring systems for size and a whole bag of mostly arbitrary combinations of letters for width.

Why not just use StrokeIt that allows mouse gestures for any programs and works great?

Usually via either a "lite version" (not having proper trial/demo capability in Apple Store totally sucks) or by screenshots. How the UI is designed often tells a lot about the quality of the app.

Doing something that you love with people that you like. The work has to be something that constantly challenges you or it becomes boring. The people you work with are hugely important to how enjoyable your job is so having a good working environment is crucial.
