With a tip like that it won't have any semblance of accuracy. There are already much better styluses available.

We Europeans already pay VAT for products and it can vary between 16-25% or something in that area. This is something you have to judge when buying stuff online from the US. Often after shipping etc it's cheaper to just get it in Europe.

Not to mention the PS3 browser is just plain awful. I mean how bad can you be when even Google.com doesn't render correctly? Trying to access the regular YouTube site is impossible because you can't use the search field.

I use Gmail because the user interface is miles better than any desktop client, not because it has a lot of space.

So let's see. It's got an ugly stand and brush handle, has a Gillette POS for razor and costs about 10x more than it should. Sure got a winner there.

Wouldn't be surprised to find that it's Flash that makes it so slow.

Opera has always had great features. Unfortunately it has never been very good at playing nice with anything else. It tends to randomly forget what program was supposed to open which file type etc. It's also noticeable that even though they've improved the main UI, everything in the back is still basically from the

Do we really need yet another PDF viewer? If you hate Adobe's crapware then Foxit Reader is a fast option for Windows and Preview is excellent on OSX. Why not just use those for PDFs instead of trying to cram them into the browser frame?

One can only hope that the same people responsible for the UI in all Adobe desktop apps are not responsible for the tablet UIs. The desktop apps are full of sloppy work ranging from usability issues to just total lack of attention to detail. For an industry standard and expensive package, Adobe's Creative Suite is not

It is pretty annoying that it generally takes a year or more for new series to land on Finnish shores and even then it's just SD quality. At the same time I could download series off the 'net in HD quality a day after they've been shown on the US television. I'd rather have a subscription service that would let me do

I think it was when everyone realised that the phones were so small you had a hard time hitting the buttons or holding the phone comfortably.

The problem with huge phones is that at some point the screen is so large that it becomes difficult to use with one hand. The main icons are usually located at either the top or bottom and it's hard to reach the top on some phones without using one hand to hold the phone and other to click stuff.

Considering most pages aren't heavy on JS it's no surprise that the load times weren't any different. Even the ones that are don't necessarily benefit from JS engine improvements until you get to really advanced stuff.

If only Cydia was better designed. It's a horrible messy app and generally spends a lot of time updating repositories etc. I gave up on jailbreaking because aside from the stuff that is always mentioned like in this article, I couldn't really find anything worth having because there's a literal shitload of crap

Flash's initial success was most likely due to it being easy for relative beginners to start creating animations, simple games and whatnot. Afaik there are still no easy to use IDEs for canvas that would offer similar functionality (the easy drawing, tween animations etc).

Those sidebars for scrolling have to be one of the worst ideas for trackpads ever. You constantly hit them by accident if they're not disabled and when you do want to scroll they're usually just either too fast or too slow so pretty much useless.

While there have been some valid points raised and it's still somewhat buggy, I think the new layout is actually better for reading. It's not a big deal to scroll the sidebar now that it actually plays nice even with Apple trackpads and mice.

The HP Elitebooks also have that touchstrip for volume control that simply doesn't work well.

Those blue leds are so damn annoying on any device. I've actually taped the front of my router so its leds don't light the whole room.

Current mobile graphics chips would handle 1080p resolution just fine. Even my several years old MBP with 9400M handles up to 2560x1600 just fine.
