My son actually requires new interviewees to watch the movie and give a report on the life lessons in it - he tells them he will know if they Googled it - how they react to the movie and its lessons play a big role in if they get hired. It takes integrity to recognize integrity, or so the story goes.
I feel it's his best performance, mainly because he did incredibly homage and justice to David Rabe's script, which was crisp and intense ~ not only Chazz but the entire cast was on their A game … his role as Phil was pristine! Anyone doing a "character study" should see these performances ~ and dissect them.
