Code Vein doubles-down on the vampire Dark Souls vibes in its latest trailer from Tokyo Game Show. Revealed in May and aiming for a 2018 release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC, the game features real-time action and medieval gas masks. It also all takes place in an apocalyptic wasteland for safe measure.

Apologies if this is off-topic:

There is a “healing” support classes for groups that need that sort of thing. Most players don’t rely on them. So if you are looking to be the person who saves everyone, the healing support spec isn’t going to do it for you. Which is great for players like me who hate depending on healeras.

The ranger in Druid specialization is very oriented to the healing/support role (and, though with minor results, also the Elementalist can be very supportive). However, the devs clearly said that the lack of a dedicated healer is intended: in this way, there’s no need to wait 30 minutes/1 hour looking for a healer for

Yup. So with the first xpac they made ‘elite specializatoins’. Kinda like a class change, but you can swap it out whenever. Rangers got Druid for theirs, and it’s a dedicated healer role. The new expansion is giving the Necromancer one called the Scourge that gives out a ton of shields and stuff to allies. There are

Ehh... Sort of.

Writing dialogue is the worst.

I don’t know if I’m in the minority here, but as someone who plays Destiny mostly as a solo player, I would love to see a massive labyrinth of a dungeon to explore by myself (or with friends, because it would be considered a patrol/open world area). Maybe something that has MANY levels that can you go up or down, but

“RDFG”

Am I the only person who remapped to the number pad? I mean...it’s a perfect grid...

It isn’t.

In Battlegrounds’ bombed-out hospital, I can’t tell whether my footsteps are my own. Every few meters, I duck into a room and stop to listen to my own movement, taking a few test steps to match them with their corresponding sounds.

Good on Bungie. Don’t give that kind of people any inch of representation on this industry.

I do not see any issue with a character being easier to play than others. Take pride in your ability to play difficult characters, not in your ability to belittle players that cannot play them. I dropped out of Overwatch due to time constraints a few months after it was launched. At the time, it was an open, honest

I think the meta-discussion of overwatch, at least at this point, needs to start including how the game adheres to Blizzard’s overall philosophy on long-term game design and balance.

Blizzard has, for the last decade, been very big on keeping things “fresh” by making constant balance changes. If you look at the history

“Top players experienced hostility and harassment just for picking the character, and major Overwatch personalities derided the hero for supposedly having a low skill ceiling.”

This sounds like it has nothing to do with Mercy and everything to do with systemic toxicity in fan culture.

There will NEVER be a WoW 2. It wouldn’t make any money because of the time that people have put in (13 years this December for me) they won’t want to start over.

It makes me think they wrote it specifically to put in a set of rhythm games. :)

That’s a fucking bold move.

The REAL problem is that the price of games has held steady at $60 despite inflation and the rising cost of game development. $60 is pretty expensive to begin with, so it’s hard to imagine that changing, but this is unsustainable!
