Orisa has a more sleek and rounded design, compared to the blocky design for the older Bastion bots. And the face resembles South African masks.

I like the design a lot. When they described it, I was skeptical, but this looks really cool.

You realize they’ve probably been working on this and other unreleased heroes for a long, long time, right? It’s not like 2 months ago they saw all the Terry Crews buzz and turned around a brand new hero in that time.

At least speaking as a Japanese American — I think for most Japanese people, the appeal is much the same (social game aspect merged with RPG), although the coolness I think comes from a fairly familiar Anime type locale faithfully recreated—much in the way that Americans get excited to see familiar locales recreated

I’m actually happy that the main character isn’t brooding and serious. It’s a nice change of pace. Reminds me of Dragon Age 2's “snarky Hawke”.

Bioware’s writers are heading by mission, so they’re almost always have their ups and downs between one mission and next, depending on which writers doing which mission. But they’re losing several top writer talents though, so hopefully they have some good new talents on board.

For what it’s worth, the lead designer tweeted this:

Now, I don’t really mind her characterisation as presented, but it’s worth keeping this in mind:

It seems people still dont get that photo realism is the worst for video games. Give me good art direction not a real looking leaf. I live in real life.

Why would you want Zelda to look more realistic? Would you want Studio Ghibli movies to be live action instead of animated? I’m happy with how it looks.

She actively turns on her Focus. It isn’t constantly displaying information to her 24/7. She uses it within particular situations, and that philosophy of context-sensitivity drives the dynamic HUD.

so beautiful, yet so bland ... I really can’t connect to any of their characters.

....bWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Though I think I said that when they released what looks like a Nvidia Fairy as a player character.

how did I not see it!? they absolutely look like that.

LOL @ your condescending-as-hell comment.

Yeah, I think it looks cool, but more in a bizarre sense than a realistic sense. Her leg looks like it’s slithering over the horse like a snake or something.

It’s cool, but there’s a very robotic, uncanny valley feel to it.

I disagree. Having a sexy character with a skimpy outfit is not necessarily pornography and does not necessarily serve the same function as pornography to everyone. I want to be that sexy character and kick some butt in a game, not go to a porn website too look at fanart.

well, the ps4 by far has the best exclusives at this point.
