You’re speaking in an absolute with no way to back it up.

No, this is were subjectivity comes into play. It is the case with every game but not the case with every player. A smoother running game is always better. Things only get better as numbers increase. The problem is, things like how fast player input is recorded and response time are things you don’t notice until they

It’s not about attempting to make the game better it’s about making it a better experience to play. Graphics enhance the artistic vision of a game. Frame rates directly affect the game play and how the player interfaces with the game. Even in those basic titles, the players experience would be improved with smoother

Haha.

Well, no. Because even in that context a shitty game at 60 would be a better gameplay experience than that same shitty game at 30. Higher framerates only add to an experience.

Well, games are about interactivity. If the game play smoother and as a result player input and response time is higher. That objectively makes every game better. Would Horizon Zero Dawn and Breath of the Wild be better games at 60 fps? Yes. Would Nier be better at locked 30? No.

60 fps makes every game better, it’s a technical truth. Every game will for sure play smoother at 60 fps.

Isn’t that the entire point of sites like these and like most of youtube’s content?

You ever play Fable 1? Game gave me some flashbacks of that little monster.

Those with a 1440p monitor; I’d seriously recommend making a custom resolution of 2440x1080 and playing with that. (You can make use of it by setting your desktop’s resolution as 2440x1080 and then using borderless windowed with the game set to 2440x1080 as well.)

The game won’t appear as blurry as it would if you jsut

Nier:Automata just came out today for PC! Been dodging spoilers for it for long enough. Time to have some fun.

Well it’s about exploration instead of a big overwhelming and terrorizing threat you’re racing against. It opens up almost identical to 1 with a quick first mission and then a long slow burn before letting you loose to do whatever. 2&3 sort of kick you in the ass. While 1 and Andromeda usher you towards a general

I think it makes a damn good impression if you were wanting more of 1. If you were wanting 2 or 3, not so much.

N7 jackets have to be up there with some of the best looking gaming clothing available. They ride the line of being stylish and subtle while also being striking and immediately recognizable.

Heh, well I’ve only played the vanilla ending and my soul is still reasonably free of spite.

If you finished it in a vacuum it probably wasn’t that egregious. I certainly didn’t think so; given that I was high on the adrenaline of the last few sequences. I feel as if everyone’s opinions are colored and enhanced by the echo chamber hate that was going on about it.

I heard somewhere that all you need is a good folding table!

For all intents and purpose it’s nice playing a game where weather actually means something to you the player. Outside of racing games I can’t really think of any game that asked me to be careful about what I was doing due to rain.

Basically random stuff that is inevitably unsatisfying. As sit I twiddling my thumbs waiting for Nier to release on PC and Mass Effect:A.’s early access.
