Yup. I hope we get to see the Preacher version of Heaven at some point. I haven't read the comics, but judging from Preacher's usual tone, I assume it'll be far different (read: darker) than the usual Biblical depiction.
Other way around, Fiore is the tall one. It took me a few episodes to remember their names, since they're rarely said.
Yes, their whole renegade/fallen lovers thing is one of the most intriguing aspects of their characterizations IMO, and I'm normally not a big romance person.
I'm assuming you mean DeBlanc? My theory is that he's a reformed demon that was "promoted" to angel. Perhaps as a result of him changing sides during the Heaven vs Hell battle to protect Fiore.

Well I haven't read the comics, but considering the massive lampshade that the writers just hung on their willingness to go off-book, I wouldn't be so sure. I'm assuming things will be more definitively clarified re: DeBlanc and Fiore in the season finale.

That's right! Forgot to mention DeBlanc's hell comment. It definitely lends more weight to the possibility that he's a (former?) demon. That, and him calling Fiore "my dear" could be a clue that they were the angel/demon lovers from the story.
Did anyone else pick up on the fact that Deblanc and Fiore are the parents of Genesis? That would mean that they are the angel and the demon who fell in love on the battlefield in the story they told Jessie at the diner. I'm guessing Deblanc is a former demon who was "promoted" to angel. That also explains why the two…
