I think there’s an outside chance we’ll get Winds of Winter from GRRM. I don’t think it’s a better than 50/50 chance, but I think there’s a possibility. I totally agree with you about Dream of Spring.

Hahahaha. He’s got himself a real niche, there.

We will never see a ASOIAF book in which the Night King gets killed.

Sounds like someone’s got a case of the Mondays.

I make hard boiled eggs for easy breakfasts every week, and the ones I make in the pot are never as easy to peel as the ones I make in the Instant Pot. But the Instant Pot is already sitting out on the counter since we use it to make dinner a couple times a week. If I had to drag that thing out of a cabinet or

I totally agree with you. Rachel really fades after book one. As far as I’m concerned, Astrid is the protagonist for the majority of the books and I love her story and development. Su Yi’s story is incredible, and that could be an amazing period movie all on its own. One of my favorite characters in the whole series

The first book was Rachel’s book. Astrid was a side character in that one. But once we get her brother in book two and start seeing more of Astrid’s story the focus shifts away from Rachel (which is too bad, because Constance Wu is fantastic) it really becomes the story of Astrid/Michael/Charlie. I’m very excited to

Like someone else said, there’s nothing overly sexually explicit in this movie, so it would mostly depend on whether your son likes rom-coms. If you’re open to suggestions about other media, Into the Badlands on AMC has Daniel Wu as its main protagonist and Aramis Knight as a secondary one, both of whom are Asian. Of

Bob’s Shanghai in Rockville. Cash only, and I never have cash, but it’s worth hitting up an ATM. I think some of the chefs there even used to work at Joe’s Shanghai.

Awesome timing. I’m starting a D&D 5E campaign for my son and some of his friends this weekend. In direct contrast with one of your points, for this first meetup I’m only giving them the option to play pre-gens. I’ve decided to run one or two of the hour-long intro adventures from an 5e in-store published pack of

By the ever reliable method of standing a stick up in the ground and watching where the moon’s shadow falls. That or drinking a lot of water before bed and then waiting til I need to get up to pee.

You got me there. I shudder to think of the chaos brought about by DST before self-setting clocks.

I always fix my clocks in a field at 2 a.m., too. I have to buy lots of new clocks.

Thanks. I went and checked out the website and it looks great. Loved Shadowrun Returns, loved old school Battletech, and I’d completely forgotten they were doing this. Very hyped.

Wait, wait, wait. What upcoming Battletech title?

Nope. That happened to me, too. Just keep harvesting resources.

The tournament system is barely explained. I spent points on every model before I read the in-hindsight logical advice that just sticking with Random speeds up the rounds. You want to start Auto Tourneys as soon as possible and keep them running- Yomi is absolutely necessary in the endgame.

Replication and Hazard Remediation are the main two. Speed and Exploration are kind of pointless; by the time you start seeing an appreciable growth in your Known Universe Explored percentage it will be driven primarily by the exponential increase in the number of probe descendants, not your Speed.

I’m glad to see any Robot Jox love, but you can’t reference that movie without the chainsaw.

Thank god. Every time they had him on NPR I would end up yelling ‘Why do you keep inviting this guy on!?’ at the radio.
