GTI is a compact, the Golf competes with the civic, cruze, focus, etc, all compacts. The VW subcompact is called the Polo and we don’t get it here in America. The sonic competes with the honda fit, toyota yaris, ford fiesta, etc

Actually it doesn’t weigh over 6,000 pounds, tests on the P90D model X from Car and Driver and Motor Trend show a curb weight around 5,500 pounds. (they use scales to test their cars, not just company figures)

Ehh kinda misleading title. Current M5s have been tested around mid 3's for 0-60, not to mention in any roll race, an M5 will handily walk away from a new M550i, seeing as it traps well over 120mph in the quarter mile

‘Torque is the only thing that propels a street car 0-60.....horsepower is not an issue until around 100’.....The amount of ignorant and arbitrary thoughts in this sentence makes me smash my head against the desk.

There is no way the manual is 100 pounds heavier, Bmw must have made a typo or something

Well a 600hp r8 wouldn’t be WAY faster than an m6, especially since the m6 is very underrated for it’s supposed power output, but it would indeed be faster nonetheless

Bhp IS crank horsepower.....i think you mean wheel horsepower

So much for freedom of speech, Alanis. But i’m sure you’ll delete this too. Great journalism!

Why is this on jalopnik? I think every one of jalopnik readers will either say ‘who’s that’ or ‘who cares’ to this topic not even remotely related to the website.

‘It rides on an updated version of the old S4’s platform’. It actually rides on an entirely new platform, the new MLB evo

Id have a 997 gt3 rs 4.0 and a new bmw x5m
