I don’t think the point LovePrayFear was trying to make was that white women should have the impunity that white men do. I think it was an observation that the blue wall of silence doesn’t seem to stand as strongly for women and non-white officers, which is likely true. That doesn’t absolve this officer or Liang of…
Yeah he really wasn’t even B list until like the early 90s at the earliest.
Oh DAMN.
Makes sense, she can’t stay with someone for too long. Otherwise they start asking questions about how she never ages and needs permission to enter people’s homes.
Outside of the rage soaked crazy of Ashley, she can’t write for shit. UCLA is one of the most difficult schools to get into in the entire country and it’s a damn tragedy that someone who writes at that level was admitted.
No way. Bitch doesn’t know what the difference between a bunk bed and a loft bed. I’ll drink all of her clearly-marked Naked juice on the basis of that alone.
A lot of chronically depressed people don’t seek help for this reason. They have all kinds of symptoms but it is their “normal” so they never question it. It takes them finding out that what they perceive ISN’T standard to ask for help.
I’ve seen some version of the 1-10 scale that actually include useful information about what each number means in terms of how the pain impacts your life. Like, IIRC, 1-2 being mildly uncomfortable, 3-4 means you need to take some Tylenol regularly, 7-8 meaning that the pain keeps you incapacitated some of the time,…
Are you black or a woman? Because apparently doctors (and more) tend to imagine different thresholds of pain for different races and genders.
I was hoping for a mention of the biggest lie I’ve had to learn to tell doctors: “My pain is a 9 or 10 out of 10.” I really think of pain more like this xkcd comic, but when I am honest and say that I’m at a 3-4, they seem to think that’s a fine way to live indefinitely and not offer any treatment.
Bye,

Oh no son, The Blaze is where people who Fox News looked at and said “TOO FUCKING CRAZY FOR US, PASS!” go to do work.
“How dare you sit there and blame white people for the problems of the minority communities. After all, aren’t you half white? Didn’t two white parents adopt you, after yours weren’t willing to raise you?!”
But, as People also reports, one Kenneth M. Farber, the co-CEO and co-founder of the Lupus Research Alliance said that “it is not commonly known that depression, anxiety and panic attacks can be side effects of lupus,”
I’d rather see a woman nursing (including possible seeing OMGSH! her nipple!) than hear a crying baby. Why is this STILL going on?
I mean, I'm a licensed structural engineer
Red is such a great album! Probably her best, song writing-wise. Holy Ground, State of Grace, All Too Well, Red... the only songs I don’t like all that much are the radio hits.
