i am curious about how well my new xbox swivel-y d-pad works for MK, i know that pulling off moves on either the d-pad, or the thumbstick, on a regular 360 controller in SFIV was definitely not 100%, and i think i wouldve done better with a stick...

i dont think that ive played a mortal kombat game since MK3...so ill be lucky if i remember most of the moves anyways. i did always personally prefer the style of commands over that of SF though.

at some point around 1:35, he mentions that "it ended up spawning its own, separate mode in the game."

ahhh...you broke it.

nice, and i thought i did well....keep playing, it will get better against you (in theory) the more rounds you play against it.

man...this computer is weak....i want some human competition.

eat that, computer.

that was also a full retail release, and not a wiiware title. not exactly a fair comparison.

personally, i would pick this up on XBLA, but probably wont on my wii...as far as episodic games....not really a fan of the concept. its an interesting idea, but i would much rather sit down and watch 12 or 18 episodes of a good TV series either in a row in one day, or at my own pace, than watch them as they air

i wonder if he would feel the same if his game didnt sell 1.2mil+ copies in less than two months...

i would really like to see some new gameplay footage of brink. all of the videos that exist are relatively old.... impressions write ups arent enough for me anymore.

i just hope it isnt any harder to buy teafood when i go to the barket.

dear all portable gaming device / smart-phone manufacturers:

man, im going to go broke buying games this spring.

you should probably get the new one, ill even help you out. heres what you do, buy the MK stick, and sell me the SFIV one for.... $20. sound good? deal.

aside from a RTS, which you really need a keyboard to play, i have to disagree and say its a matter of preference. for an FPS, i really prefer a controller....i know a mouse can be more precise, but i like the feel of being precise with my thumb, rather than my wrist...comparing a mouse to a wheel and pedals doesnt

also, i really hope it plays as well on ps3 and 360 as it does on a PC. sounds like they do still have some gameplay tweak and bugs to work out here and there, but its not out until may 17th, so they have some time to polish it yet.

for anyone looking to read up on this very promising game in further detail, a large, but readable compilation of current knowledge of the game is here:

you know, after rereading this, it just sounds like hooking your tv up to your pc, and playing games with a controller.
