Only PC babies don't like the pc babies

The AVClub reviewers really are, aren’t they.  Anytime the PC babies get used, you know sites like this one will hate the episode citing some nonsense about “Matt and Trey failing to take a firm political stance”, or the episode being “tone deaf”.

Stephanie isn’t a good writer.  Don’t expect too much.

Why the hell is the writer saying that the ‘Randy Savage’ look a like is representing Caster Semenya? That’s insane. She’s never identified as male the way the Randy Savage look a like did, and most certainly does not look like Randy Savage. This is clearly an incredibly ham fisted attempt to add racism to the crimes

Wow AV club turned in to splinter

This was a great episode. (I actually thought AVClub would give it an F so I’m surprised by the C-). Also, who are the two cis white guys from Canada who shouldn’t be offering their opinions on trans issues?  (Trey and Matt are from Colorado).

Wow! Thank you for your contribution to what is a damn fine engine!

Those people all got their comments out of the way on yesterday’s review of the F250 Limited.

I was a manufacturing engineer on the old 7.3. We were proud of that engine. It was built with forged rods and crank and a billet cam. It wasn't a powerhouses, but built to last. The factory workers wouldn't let suspect parts out the door-because they believed in putting out quality. Then we started seeing cost

Aafter reading the comments, all I can say is...how refreshing. Most people seem to “get” this engine, its purpose and mission in life. Other auto site’s comment sections are full of people ranting about how NOBODY NEEDS A TRUCK and MY E90 BMW IS MORE CAPABLE THAN A SUPER DUTY, and the ignorance goes on and on.

I put a fair bit of work into getting 400hp out of my Ford 7.3, and your telling me all I had to do was switch to putting gasoline in it? FFS!

The numbers are starting to favor gasoline for long term operating cost savings these days in fleets and heavy duty trucks. Simpler, cheaper, more reliable.

This exactly. Fleets and heavy operators are figuring out that diesels high initial costs, higher costs in maintenance and higher downtimes for maintenance aren’t worth the gains in economy.  A dead reliable, low maintenance and cheaper gasoline engine is the economic choice in the long run.

But without the hideously expensive common rail fuel injection system, diesel particulate filter(s), and selective catalytic reduction system that the diesel needs to be legal. Oh, and no turbo, either.

“Dyno-certified”... a.k.a. the “rental truck” version. This is what will end up in every Uhaul, Home Depot, etc. rental fleet purchase because it will be cheap to maintain and will live forever.

So, Ford have made a spark ignition engine with the same kind of characteristics as a diesel except that it burns more fuel?

This is going to be one of those trucks where all it takes to tow your 22ft boat out of the boatlaunch is just letting off the brake pedal.

I love when you hide the answer to all your questions:

The prophecy of "Get woke, Go broke" continues.
