I was thinking the same thing.
I was thinking the same thing.
I guess I’m just less concerned with the actual football/sports politics side of the show than some people. I’m not bothered by the detour away from the field for a while. I’m here for the character interactions and emotional arcs. The game itself is one vehicle for that and can be pretty cool, but it’s not the only…
I didn’t check my watch until there was about 2 minutes left in the episode... Maybe this show isn’t for you if that’s how you feel.
It will mean very little to most viewers but the inclusion of a Molly Drake song at the end was just gorgeous.
I don’t understand how one can rightly applaud Waddingham without mentioning Harriet Walter (niece of Christopher Lee!) as her mother. The two of them made this episode, their scenes even stronger than Lasso and Sharon irrespective of how great Sudeikis was.
The comedian one fell very flat for me. For one, Tracy Morgan was miscast, and didn’t come across as very devilish. For another, it just felt so obvious, as if it could have been a 5-10 minute episode and had every bit the weight. Every twist, every turn, was just too obvious. The Twilight Zone is hard to do, because…
Nightmare? NO Suspenseful? NO Intriguing? NO Boring? DEFINITELY
If a mother wants to erect a bronze statue in tribute to her deceased son who am I to judge?
I was actually thinking of working with a “coach” before running LA in February. I figured I’m childless and have this disposable income, why not? Better than spending it on booze.
Running is... not fancy.
Usually when I start to run, I stop like 30 seconds later. The ability to continue running past this initial point seems like a super power.
Well, to be fair, you can do it in one step by robbing a bank. I suppose that is me being lazy and looking for a shortcut though.
People can decide for themselves how the two things (ball deflation and piping in noise) stack up, but there is one key difference - how the two organizations handled it.
This makes all sorts of no-sense. Everytime anyone asserts they perceived something, they are asserting a perception. The credibility of the person making the assertion doesn't change just because what they perceived was another person's statement rather than, say, the color of someone's shirt.
"Diplomacy is basically Risk?" I want to play Diplomacy against you real bad. You can be Austria-Hungary.
"Oh ya?!? Earthquake!!"
Said at EVERY game of Monopoly I've ever played!
Diplomacy is the same as Risk as Bugatti Veyron is to a Little Tikes Cozy Coupe.
