Ugh, Catera. I remember years ago having to work on them.

Why do you keep making us sad with Ford GT have-not stories!!
I don’t think I’ve ever ridden in any pre-bailout GM product that didn’t squeak and rattle like crazy.
That’s not actually true. Most older North Americans can drive a stick and just opt not to for the ‘convenience’ of an automatic. While I do love my MTs (never owned anything else) ATs are better on fuel these days on top of being slightly easier to drive.
The vast majority of North American drivers drive ATs. It’s a shame, really.
What makes me laugh is they say it’s too “busy” for them, and then proceed to drive while on their phones.
It’s not for the techs. Techs and factory employees are internally licensed/certified to drive MT’s or they don’t drive them. There are 80 to 100 drivers in the plant at any time ferrying vehicles from dyno to final, or from final to the yards/trains. Between 10% to 100% of them are certified to drive the MTs…
I have a ‘14 Accord CVT for a commuter car and I was pretty skeptical at first but I’ve come to really appreciate it now. Now it feels a little odd to drive a regular automatic...
This is for their techs, not the customers.
He probably says it that way on purpose so nobody would confuse him as a grown man that spends waking hours contemplating pokemon...s.
I know a car trailer and car aren’t aerodynamic bricks like hardsided trailers, but 17 mpg at interstate speeds is...... impressive.

A friend of mine bought that exact car back in the day. I took it for a drive and can only remember getting in and getting out, and not a single thing in between. For some people that’s just what they want, a Camry before the Camry became the epitome of forgettable. I prefer actually remembering the drive, no matter…
Got mine 2 days ago to tow an S2000 around. Thanks for the comprehensive vote of confidence!
And still is
I can verify that they are actually doing this. Honda gave me a free rental for five weeks while they waited for a replacement airbag for my ‘08 CRV. You make an appointment with the dealer and take the car in so they can record the mileage, then they have you sign papers saying you agree to drive it straight home and…

agreed, the inside of my TSX looks like respective dirt and milk bombs exploded. not only would i worry about the interior of the volvo with the kids, but i’d also be worried about the exterior considering there have been multiple instances where my front/rear bumpers have been popped out from horrible neighbors that…
