If it helps, I doubt that Hunter ever really thought that Fitz would listen to him? He strikes me as the kind of guy that throws out suggestions to be funny and would be shocked if anyone ever really took his advice.
The second Hunter seriously advocated leaving a guy stranded on an alien planet with no hope of ever getting home he lost a lot of respect in my eyes. What the fuck, dude? It’s not the same thing as the plane ticket thing. Not remotely.
I’m betting Lash/Andy is and was always an inhuman, probably a scout/enforcer for authority levels above Daisy’s mom. . The Terrigen got out on his trip with May, the Inhuman powers that be called him in to clean-up the mess, and he had to cut his vacation short.
Melinda May seems to have a thing for guys who seems nice but turn out to be insane murderers. Very Whedonesque.
I’d think that since Jemma’s returns, they would have run a battery of medical tests on her. If she were pregnant, I don’t see how she could have hidden that.
If the show thinks so highly of Ward they really need to write him better/smarter. sure, he’s a great field agent, but other than that he sort of comes off like a short-sighted, petulant man-child without a tactical thought in his head.
NAZI. NAZI! NAZI.
So the ATCU is the headquarters for the Cabin in the Woods. Who knew?
There was a moment though when he was selling out the Strucker kid that made me think he might just be playing both sides. He said something about Strucker to the effect of “he shouldn’t even be on the the board”. I feel like he’s trying to tough talk Ward to show he can be trusted and then BAM. POWERS. BOOTHED.
/okay,…
I’m pretty sure that Andrew hasn’t killed Daisy yet because he needs SHIELD to help him hunt down inhumans. They’re a lot better than finding them than he would be alone, and Daisy is excellent at making inhumans lower their guard.
It has the appearance of a bog-standard triangle? But I suspect it will be subverted. (I’m still mildly annoyed they went there at all, but AoS rarely runs blindly into blatant tropes.)
I really don’t think Fitz would ever leave Will stranded on that planet, and it has nothing to do with Simmons. I mean come on, what kind of person would leave someone to die alone on a deserted alien planet? Even if they are romantic competition? To suggest that Fitz would do that is kind of an insult to him.
And a bunch of commenters here, two weeks ago. I mean, I like CJA a lot, but “literally came out of nowhere” is a bit much when there was a big pile of speculation in the “is Andrew dead?” thread.
The Andrew thing actually had me set my drink down and say, out loud, “Huh, didn’t see that coming.”
Designing new lanyards I guess.
Yeah, first girl in 14 years and he figures he should pump up his resume to impress her...
“...honestly she had a pretty easy time of it and only saw the monster twice. Beyond her first week there, she was pretty comfortable.”
I’m not seeing it, but if Will IS Death— well, someone’s going to be awfully jealous.
