Well not really based on mood, because Fitz was pissed enough that it would have opened. I think it is like Thor’s hammer, only those it deems worthy are sucked in.

I agree that it seemed they were studying it, or more likely studying the place on the other side — since they seemed fully aware that it would take the man who drew the white stone on a journey to somewhere. Or maybe they had an idea what was on the other side and were trying to retrieve something.
I see absolutely no reason why there can’t still be another half dozen branches of Hydra hiding out there. They take decentralization (other than branding, which is obviously under a single PR firm) to a ridiculous degree.
Are you sure this is still the case post Hickman’s run on Fantastic Four? Because he made it pretty clear that the Inhumans were part of a series of Kree experiments that also created the Kymellians, Dire Wraiths, Badoon and Centaurians. Marvel wikia doesn’t mention anything about the Eternals:
Wait, I just realized... the guy’s name is Joey, he can melt stuff... is he J. T. Slade a.k.a. Hellfire?
Na, for me it was the idea that there could be a castle standing around in rural Glocuestershire that the National Trust haven’t got their hands on.
Don’t buy the setup between Ward and von Strucker. I’m betting that von Strucker the Younger is playing a long game with Ward, and will turn the tables on him as soon as his position is secure. No way Daddy von Strucker left his boy out of the loop.
They are definitly the woobies on the show. I give it 3 episodes before Jemma jerks awake from a nightmare and shivs Fitz.
I think you misread Fitz. it wasn’t luck there. He just made the conclusion that the worst case scenario would be him stuck on that other world with Simmons. He’d rather be there with her than without her. so the lucky part isn’t that he was or wasn’t stuck there but that he managed to bring her back.
Did she come back alone, though? Hmmm
Okay, this show has really gotten good. I actually jumped off the couch, hands raised and screaming when Fitz, pulled Simmons out of the rubble. Then seeing him asleep next to her and them together, it warms the heart.
What if Simmons is an inhuman?! That would sure piss her off.
Oh, sure, hard to make a new character less sympathetic than by making him a Nazi trust fund baby. I’m just amazed by Ward’s weaksauce nonsense propaganda. At least make me dig a little bit before seeing through it.
There was speculation that it was causing Daisy’s nosebleeds because of the vibrations, not because of the rock itself. Daisy can feel vibrations, remember?
When are they going to give Fitz and Simmons a break? It seems they are the two characters that get tortured the most on the team, emotionally and mentally.
“Fitz, you are an absolute beauty!!” -Hunter
I loved the realization that I genuinely didn’t know how that would end. Which is not something that always happens.
I love Doc Mock.
Another nickname I love from elsewhere, “Werner von Trustfund”, who I’m sure is inwardly seething that a comparative peasant like Ward is running Hydra now and DARED to mess with him. I’m betting on an eventual villain double-cross...that Ward might or might not see coming.
She may have gotten back ‘too soon’, but I have a feeling the aftermath of her visit will have much longer lasting ramifications.
I actually feel like they got Simmons back too soon. Sure she’s been gone for the others for months, and Fitz was trying that entire time, but the audience never got invested with that search. For us it was one try- aaaaand done.
