Unfortunately, Idris Elba also regrets signing on with marvel...I believe he said it was “torture”. Portman only signed on to Thor because of the director but that director dropped out and they got Kenneth Brannaugh. Apparently, she wanted to pull out after the 1st director left...though I don’t understand anyone not

Did anyone else wonder where Ward got the box with his blowtorch? Did he bring it with him to dinner with Malick? “Hello, Gideon. I hope you don’t mind, I brought this blowtorch along in case I needed to torture somebody after dinner...”

SHIELD has Trip's remains already. Simmons collected them before flooding the Kree city. Those were cocoons from the Inhumans they made. FYI, that crate was labeled #17, so that is a lot of new powered people. WooHoo!

No, the tv show is not allowed to touch him :(

I thought they were headed to Jane in episode 2 when Fitz said he needed an expert in Einstein-Rosen bridges, but they went to Randolph, instead. In movie logic I guess Coulson figured Randolph owed him one (for saving his life in “The Well” episode. I suppose he is also still trying to keep the fact that he is alive

I completely agree. It didn't seem like a "they're finally together" moment for me, either. It felt more like, "this is the closest we are ever going to get".

I am still hoping Rosalind was lying to Coulson and having Banks rescue Hunter/Bobbi was just a way to re-earn the trust of Coulson. I am tired of the whole double/triple agent thing, but I really want an excuse not to like Roz.

Theory: Rosalind's ATCU becomes SWORD

I have wondered if Simmons also saw "It" in that first moment when she fell in the pit/trap in the bamboo grove. She blearily looks up and sees something cover the hole she fell through. I have tried and tried to pause that shot and cannot get a clear view of what it is she sees, but I am not convinced it totally

People complain about Season 1, but I liked it...it was just really light compared to 2-3, but in the end what it really accomplished was driving the characters to the points they are now.

I was just thinking about this, too (the scene where Dacascos starts levitating stuff just made me think of gravity, then Graviton—not saying Dacascos is Graviton, just that it made remember him). And I also cannot believe we haven't heard anything about Quinn. I guess SHIELD has had bigger fish to fry, but I hate

I like that, but I wonder if maybe the name came from Red Skull and when Malick referred to the ancient organization being Hydra he may have meant something like “Real-Hydra”.

Andrew

I doubt It is the unspoken because from what I have gathered from Fiege interviews the show is not allowed to touch the Royal Family (they are being reserved for the movie...and that the only evidence the movie wasn’t happening was if AoS started working with the Royal Family). I like the Phobos theory, myself.

Thank you for that. It has been bugging me what show they were talking about.

I am pretty sure Ward was the one who said Werner was the last heir (Malick says the Strucker vault doesn’t exist, Ward says he would believe that if Malick hadn’t sacrificed the last heir).

Yeah, but she says her husband is a cardiologist and Will says he is not science-y. Of course, Will seems to be science-y when the mood strikes him. And Fitz did find the pics of Will being in the Air Force.

Good point about the year matching.

Then-Skye seemed to know early in season 2 (she tells Ward that everyone really respects and loves the Ward family). And I am assuming it was in Ward's SHIELD personnel file, it was just never mentioned on-air. Just because something isn't stated on-air doesn't mean that the characters don't know.

Thomas Ward is Grant’s younger brother.
