I’m thinking i could saute artichoke hearts in some garlic and butter and make a garlic white sauce. Maybe add some shredded chicken... and have a pretty classy lunchable pizza.

Definitely came here to talk about the pasta sauces. They’re great, and MUCH cheaper than even crappy Prego here in my area. The mushroom- and cheese-stuffed tortellinis are good, too (the ones that are shelf-stable and don’t have to be refrigerated). They’re handy when you’re in a big darn hurry, that’s for sure. …
I’d say these recs are pretty solid, however I’d exercise caution when it comes to fresh produce. When shopping aldi I find I have to be more careful about making sure the strawberries don’t have fuzz and that onions don’t have bad spots - more so than shopping at TJ’s or Giant Eagle etc...
I would also mention that…
I’ve had good luck with the 8 and 12-inch T-fal Nonstick Professional Frypans. Together they can be had for around $60, if that, and can take a relative beating. My wife has used them practically everyday for the past two years, and while the bottoms are discolored from all the heating, the nonstick surface is still…

Just get one of the Dash steam egg cookers when it goes on sale again. Super easy, no mess, come out perfect every time, and easy to peel. Also the omelette tray is the perfect size for bagel sandwiches. Worth it!
It’s not very weird, but I’d be lost without my egg cooker. Something like this: https://smile.amazon.com/Elite-Cuisine-EGC-007-Maxi-Matic-Capacity/dp/B00F0RDRFS/ref=sr_1_5?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1501628440&sr=1-5&keywords=egg+cooker
An orange peeler! It used to be that they were only given away as prizes at Tupperware parties, and I have actually attended several only because I hoped to win one.
This thing hands down:
Spiralizer for zucchini noodles. It makes better noodles than using a mandolin.

I’m a woman and I prefer Coke Zero. Diet Coke has a radically different recipe than Coke, it’s far more than ‘Coke without Sugar’ but Coke Zero tastes a lot more like actual coke so I prefer it. Changing Diet Coke to taste more like Coke is also not an option since Diet Coke has it’s own near cult like following.
Also…
Sorry but this is a horseshit opinion. Coke Zero tastes a lot different from Diet Coke, it’s sweeter and has that spicy, slightly citrusy flavor to it like Coca-Cola whereas Diet Coke does not. (The “base formula” of Coke Zero is the original Coke formula whereas the base formula of Diet Coke was and is the New Coke…
Gyros, which would require lamb. I’ve made Kenji’s version sous vide
How about a Shawarma or Doner Kebab?
I flew Turkish Airlines in May after they became one of the airlines required to ban laptops and tablets from the passenger compartment. At the gate they provided padded envelopes and a checked luggage ticket and packed all the checked electronics envelopes into a large padded case. You picked up your gate checked…
More of these!!!
I’ve done Pork Belly for 48 hours with a 5-spice, soy and mirin marinade, then broiled to get crispy. Put them into bao buns with homemade hoison and quick pickled daikon and carrots. Sooooooooooo good.
PORK BELLY!
The article is not misleading. The labeling of those remedies as “homeopathic” is what is misleading. People have been associating “homeopathic” with natural or drug-free, and the sellers of those items have taken advantage of that. As an infectious disease epidemiologist and medical technologist, I find nothing…
