It's not too difficult to poke pin holes in True Detective, but I think it deserved better than a C. I was on pin and needles through most of it….and Matthew Macounaghy just got the Best Actor Oscar. He's displayed this level of talent in TD too.

All the ancient Roman references, now we have chickens but where is Clyde? and I think Joan is doing just fine, I am as absorbed with her character as Sherlock's.

I have to agree, although there are always some funny lines, overall I didn't feel it was much fun and I wonder if the dining room table will be there next week.

Aside from the pomp and pageantry, Paul Giamatti made the show for me. Hope he gets some time next season.

Interesting theory but I have some doubts. This show can throw such curves, who knows what to expect. The only certainty I can hold on to is how bent Rust is.

In the palest of gray. Sublime.

He's just a super obsessed madman on a mission.

Well, at least Woody can come up with some lines that are funny.

This is a deeply disturbing show and I mean that in a good way

The ladies garden party costumes had me in a thrall…….and Violet, just Violet's tart tongue.

So this is what Jessica Findlay Brown bailed on Downton Abbey for?

Agreed

Ditch them all, Mary doesn't need any of them.

I got a tad worried when Violet took sick…and I so wanted Mrs. Hughes to tear Gillingham's valet a new one and the some but Bates has put 2 and 2 together and he'll do it. Literally.

I hope for her that she gets a really big break and it doesn't have to involve Mr. Gregson.

I really like how this focused on character more than anything. My heart wrenched for Michonne when we were introduced to her first "pets" and the little boy she lost. Ouch, that hurt.

So many comments regarding the final incredible scene and how amazingly well it was executed, no doubt but one of the things that blew me away was level was substance abuse, whether it was booze or coke or meth. It me wonder how someone managed not to have a heart attack.

Rust.

It would have gone awry with or without Rust.

It was crazy, it was madness, I was blown away!
