It's actually kind of weird that Fuller threw that scene in to begin with. Not that I hated it at all, but he recently came out and said this is a show that's not about sex (in regards to whether there will be a rape scene, as per the books). Yet in this episode, Bedelia kisses Hannibal and we get a lesbian scene.

Definitely. I really agree that Hannibal's more inside Bedelia's head than she realizes. Will acknowledging this is smart. Don't get me wrong, I think she's survived Hannibal so far, but it hasn't been easy and I think has ruined her in the process.
