I LOVED the show when it first came out 16 years ago, and for that time, it was pretty progressive. However, when I watch it now I definitely cringe a bit.

Sadly, Colin's mother passed away about 12 years ago so I imagine Ms. Wilson may have more of a role than many stepmothers.
