Okay, when I first read the headline, I wondered to myself: “Why?” Why would they want to participate in a music genre so white, that even many white people find it a combination of too bland and too racist? I’ve said before, she’s a national treasure. I’ve interacted with her and she’s just a special person. Has that rare ability to be erudite and down at the same time. I am glad you had a similar experience.

Not clear why Edgar Allan Toe here is only being charged with carrying a concealed firearm when he clearly had it out in full view with the intention of menacing those kids. Do they not have laws against brandishing in Florida?

I want to agree with you, but I’m hopeful. Every line of the original was genius for its instant ‘quotability.’ I can see them messing this up, but again, I’ll be hopeful.
